Looking for some help...

Hey Hurtems and families.

We're starting to get organized for our fall kickoff, and we're getting our practice spaces lined up!

If you know of a park, soccer field, open space, or that perfect spot to play ultimate in your neighborhood, please post it in the comments section.

Our Fearless Field Facilitation Fanatic Ron Curme is going to work hard to get us the spaces we need, but we're certain you all know of some spots that we don't.

Please post any and all info in the comments section of this post and it'll get entered into our database to be used for years to come.

Thank you for your help!!!
Coaches, Exec Committee, Parents, and ESPECIALLY the kids who make up this team.

Hold Back the Snow Announcement!

The tournament date has been set! We'll be leaving Friday, October 12 for the largest Juniors tournament in the Midwest! Play will be on October 13 &14th. This is in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, so you'll need a passport in order to play.

I REPEAT:

YOU WILL NEED A PASSPORT IN ORDER TO GET TO THIS TOURNAMENT.

If you do not have a passport and plan on attending this tournament, you should do your best to get one now. They can take 8+ weeks to get to you, so plan ahead, be prepared.

Important!!!!

The UPA is hosting a round-table discussion with anyone who would like to be involved in the decision-making process about the future of Ultimate. It will be held at the National Sports Center in Blaine on Sat. June 30, and I'd like to see a number of you there. I think this is a great opportunity for everyone involved in Hopkins Ultimate to really understand what the sport will look like in , 5, and 10 years from now, and have a voice in how you would like it to progress.

You need to register if you want to attend, so read up on it here:

See you there!

Women's Ultimate!!

Hello Everybody! I am writing on behalf of, well, me and all you out there who want an opportunity to play some excellent women's ultimate here in the twin cities.

I propose 10 am to 12 pm on Sundays at Lake Nokomis (on Cedar Avenue and 50th street South in Minneapolis) as a standing time for any interested women to come and scrimmage to our hearts content. This is a time to come play with folks that you may not have a chance to play with otherwise and to generally enjoy the summer in the way that only ultimate makes possible. All skill levels are heartily welcomed.

Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone who may be interested. Please let me know of anyone that I should add to this twin cities women's ultimate email list. And please feel free to email me questions or comments at any time. Hope to see you there!
