IMPORTANT: "Hold Back the Snow" = MEA Weekend

This just in....October 18 & 19, the weekend of Hold Back the Snow tourney in Winnipeg, is apparently the same weekend as MEA. (Dang it, checked all the other calendars except, of course, the school calendar! Duh!) Anyway, Coach Jake (and your's truly) need to know how this will impact your availability for the tourney. Who CAN and who CANNOT go? We need to figure out if we'll still be able to field 2 teams to make the trip worthwhile. So....

Who CAN and who CANNOT go to the Hold Back the Snow tourney, October 18 & 19??? EVERYBODY, please let us know one way or the other....

"Hold Back the Snow" Tourney in Winnipeg - October 18 & 19

I hope everyone's had a wonderful summer, filled with ULTIMATE fun. Just wanted to let you mark your calendars for the Hold Back the Snow tourney in Winnipeg. The dates this year are October 18 & 19. Coach Jake has confirmed that Hopkins Ultimate will be represented by two teams. I'll be making the bus and hotel reservations in the very near future. If you have any special requests, please contact me at jdailey@healthmarketer.com. You should know that "Bullet" called me this summer to again tell me how much he enjoyed and admired the Hopkins Ultimate athletes when he accompanied us to West Nationals last spring. He is hoping that we will "allow him to drive the team to Winnipeg this fall." It sure sounds good to me. All in favor?

Welcome *Double REVISED*

Welcome to the 2008-2009 Hopkins Ultimate season,

Hope everyone got a few throws in and had a great summer.

Starting Saturday, August 16th we will get back into ultimate mode with captains practices.
