This meeting is for all players and 1 parent/guardian interested in playing with Hopkins Ultimate. Whether you're a new player or veteran of  Hopkins Ultimate, our fall meeting is full of important information.
Key topics we will address include:
practice's,  games,  tournaments, fundraising, rules, parent/player expectations, and registration.
Paperwork necessary to participate in Hopkins Ultimate will be available for families to complete and turn in.

Registration

Thank you to everyone who attended our registration meeting last night; it was great to see so many returning and new players and parents! If you were unable to attend, the registration forms will now be available for you to download and print out. You may bring them to practice and turn everything in to coach Erin, in which case Wyatt will have a disc for you that night, or mail them to me at the address on the form, and I will then let Wyatt know that you can be given a disc at the next practice. No one will be allowed to attend practice without being registered after next Thursday, September 27th. If you have any questions regarding the forms, I'm happy to answer them; my email address is on the right hand side of the page above the calendar.

FALL REGISTRATION MEETING

We will be holding our fall registration meeting on Wednesday, September 19th at 7:00pm in room W230 HHS. This meeting is for all parents and players who are interested in playing on any of the Hopkins Ultimate teams this year. We will be going over all the information regarding seasons, practice, games, tournaments, rules, and regulations. Coaches and captains will be speaking and answering questions. Please make it a priority to attend with your player! Registration forms will be available at the meeting. If they are available sooner, we will post a link for them on the blog so you'll be able to download them ahead of time.

Information regarding the official start of practice will be posted soon; we're just waiting for confirmation on all of our field space requests. In the meantime, get outside after school and throw with a friend!

Sorry for the earlier confusion; the meeting is on Wednesday. Thank you to the parents who noticed my mistake and let me know!

Reminders!

Hurtems, Hertets & Parents!

A few reminders:

1) Registration for Hopkins Ultimate is due. If I don't have a medical waiver for you on file, you will not be allowed to practice starting Tonight (10/6)

2) If you are attending HBTS, Sara needs your birthdate and passport number in an email to her (semekler@gmail.com) by October 10th. Please send your HBTS fee to her house (address in the sidebar) as soon as possible.

3) This weekend is Exit 69, a Varsity tryout tournament. Carpool details will be posted shortly. We have a very small squad on Saturday (if you are in 10th-12th grade and you can attend on Saturday, please let me know) - but our full squad on Sunday would love some spectators!

4) We may have found a field with lights! Stay tuned for a location change for next week.

Fall Registration Meeting

Tuesday, September 13th, 7:00
Hopkins High School, room W230

Players and parents, this is the official beginning of our season! It's very important for parents to attend this meeting with their player as we will be explaining plans for the season, hearing from our coaching staff, and discussing upcoming tournaments.

Registration will also take place, with all forms available at the meeting. Forms will also be available this weekend on the blog for you to print and bring with you if you'd like.

If you are printing your forms at home, you need all four listed below; each is accessed from it's named link. USAU dues are part of your registration fees so don't write a separate check for this!

Spring Meeting Sunday February 27 @ 6pm

Please be aware and tell your parents that we will be having a Spring Meeting on Sunday February 27th at the West Jr. High cafeteria.

Meeting will start at 6pm, and at 7:45 Hurtems will go down to the structure for practice.

This meeting will cover a LOT of information:

registration
rostering
tournaments
practices
travel
HUSTLE (May 7-8th)

Please make it a priority to attend this meeting. All Hurtems should have at least one parent there, regardless of whether they are new to the program or not.

Exit 69 Tournament

Please remember that if you are signing up to play this weekend at Exit 69, you must be a registered member of our team! There are some people who have posted that they are attending who have not yet sent in their forms and check. You can find all the forms in the registration post(linked on the right) Bring your completed forms and check with you to practice tonight.

Remember you will not be allowed to practice on Thursday if you are not officially registered!! Registration Meeting

Just a reminder that our first team meeting and season registration is tomorrow night in the HHS lunchroom at 7:00. Please attend with a parent! We will have all forms available for you to fill out at the meeting.

Fall Registration Meeting

Tuesday, September 14th, 7:00pm
Hopkins High School lunchroom

Players and parents, this is the official beginning of our season! We will have a short meeting followed by registration. Forms will be available on the blog for you to print and bring with you and we will also have all forms available at the meeting.

Registration due by Oct. 1

If you wish to practice or compete with Hopkins Ultimate, you must submit your registration forms and fee by Oct. 1. You will not be included in future tournament play without signing and completing the four forms listed on our web site (see right side).

The club will work with families who have financial constraints to help make participation possible. Parents should contact me at slbrenden@comcast.net
