We'll be meeting by the Lindberg fields behind the High School at 6:55 am tommorow. Bring $10 for the tournament and be on time, we need to arrive there no later than 8:30 so it's a bit of a tight schedule.
Also, eat breakfast, get good sleep, and it wouldn't hurt to stretch the night before. It will be chilly, so bring appropriate equipment to keep you toasty warm all day (rain gear, etc.) We will win the weather factor.

Directions:
From I-94 – Take St. Augusta / Highway 75 Exit, go right off ramp. Follow 75 for about 6 miles to 25th Avenue South (large Tenvoorde Ford dealer on corner). Go right on 25th. Continue to 12th Street North (a T intersection), go right. Follow Northway Drive about 8 blocks to Whitney Park (on the left, YMCA on the right)
Field Location: 4 fields directly across the street from YMCA (1530 Northway Drive)
Parking: on-street or parking lot just behind field location
Restrooms: In Whitney Center or YMCA
Times: Games begin 9:00 sharp. Please arrive at 8:30 for warm-ups, sign-in.
Afternoon games begin at 2:00 sharp. Face-Off game at 5:00.
Captains Meeting: 8:40 AM near registration tent
Lunch: 1:00-2:00 – brown bag or fast food. Subway: 1 block south of field on Northway Drive; OR hamburgers in downtown Sauk Rapids (about 4 blocks NE) --Burger King 1 block south of Sauk Rapids bridge, Short Stop 1 block north of bridge. Whitney Park will open small concession stand nearby between 11 and 2:30 – hot dogs, chips, beverages, etc.
Water: Provided on field throughout day.
Showers: If day is hot (hard to believe!), quick showers will be available at the YMCA at tourney’s end so your car-ride home is bearable….
Details for Tournament:
• 7 games Round Robin – each team plays all other teams once. Face-Off game (8th game) determined by wins/losses; ties will be broken by previous head-to-head game. All games start on the hour. Report end-scores to scoring table following each game.
• UPA 11th edition
• Each team gets 1 time out per game. 5 minute half-time.
• Games are 13 points, short half at 7. At 45 minutes, warning horn will sound for soft-cap. At 50 minutes horn will sound for hard cap
• Face-Off Game: Play to 15 points. At 50 minutes, warning horn will sound for soft-cap. At 55 minutes horn will sound for hard cap
• If weather conditions are difficult, games may be shortened.
