JV tourney this weekend: Granite City Classic

Another Update: We really need Saturday drivers, both there and back! Fee will be $15 for both days, $10 for one day.

Updated again:
For Saturday we will meet at 7:20 a.m at our practice fields and will be back around 4:30 if not before 5:15. For Sunday, we'll plan to meet at 8:00 a.m. and be back around 4:30 5:15 again. Check comments for schedule details.

The JV will represent Hopkins at the GCC May 17th and 18th. We will need transportation to and fro St. Cloud both days. Parents, please post if you can drive and when. Many, many thanks. Players, I expect you to come out unless you have family, religion or school obligations (homework is not a good excuse, taking an important test that day is.) Please confirm your participation for both or one of the days so I can figgure rides.

Info from GCC:
1) The teams: We have 8 Open Varsity teams, 4 Girls
Varsity and 6 Open Jr. Varsity teams coming. Pools will be
established based on UPA rankings as of May 12.

2) Map & Directions
Be sure to avoid the Highway 23 bridge over the Mississippi River in downtown St. Cloud as it was closed recently.

When you arrive at Whitney Park go to the left side of
the park and follow it around the west side and enter
the west parking lot. The tournament HQ tent will be
set up near this parking lot.

other food available for purchase for parents and
fans. Additionally, there are a Burger King and two
Subway restaurants near the park, as well as several
other non-franchised restaurants.

6)Tournament Director: Mark Reuter
Talk to Coach Russ if you need his info.

Fees will depend on the # of players that commit, more commitment = lower fees per player.
